My female freedom

Liesbeth about Breastflower

“Breastflower cheers you up!”

Hello,

My name is Liesbeth. I'm married and a mother of three. I've been missing my left breast since June 2018 due to breast cancer. I was fortunate enough to recover. I work as a doctor's assistant and I love walking, fitness, cycling and being creative.

In January 2020 I was asked to participate in a test panel. It would concern a beautiful lingerie collection, designed for women with a one-sided or two-sided mastectomy. My curiosity was piqued. I had absolutely no clue what to expect. I got in touch with Kamroen and she showed me Breastflower. I needed some time to let it all sink in. It looked beautiful, and it was made of beautiful materials. Would it be an asset for women with a mastectomy? After letting the idea sink in, I thought: yes, this is a product that definitely has potential.

I started wearing Breastflower and noticed it made me happy. It's a beautiful design and it feels comfortable. I got excited about it. It feels like a piece of jewellery on your skin and it turns your loss into something beautiful. It also gives you freedom. It can be worn underneath a top or blouse without having to worry about straps or something pinching. My expectation is that women with a mastectomy will certainly be excited about this.

Cheers,
Liesbeth
